The Contributor Discovery Matrix is a grid of faces representing real people in the workplace. Click on any face to reveal their job role, sector, and how they contribute at work.
You can browse a small preview of the matrix without an account. To see full profiles, job details, and media (documents, audio, video) for everyone in the matrix, you'll need to register for a free account or log in.
Use the search box and the Sector / Media Type dropdowns above the matrix grid to narrow down which profiles are shown. Click "Reset" to clear all filters.
Click "Register", enter your first name, surname, email address, and date of birth. You'll receive a confirmation email — click the link inside it to activate your account and get your username and password.
Check your spam/junk folder first. If it's still missing, try registering again with the same email address — this will resend a fresh confirmation link.
Click "Forgot your username or password?" on the login form and enter your email address. If we find a matching account, we'll email you your username along with a link to set a new password. The link expires after 1 hour.
Guest accounts are time-limited access passes issued by the site administrator, useful for people who need temporary access without going through full registration.
Once you've selected a profile, click "Bookmark Profile" underneath it. The button will turn teal and show "Bookmarked ✓" to confirm.
Click "My Bookmarks" next to the Bookmark button to see a list of everything you've saved. Click any entry to jump straight back to that profile, or click the × next to it to remove it.
No — bookmarks are private to your account and only ever show your own saved profiles.
These appear under a profile when media is available for that person. "Document / Article" opens a related article or PDF, "Podcast / Audio" plays an audio clip, and "Watch Video" plays a related video, all within the preview panel.
This opens a detailed panel with the profile's SOC code, salary range, typical working hours, sector classification, role overview, entry routes, and key skills.
Click the ContributionUK logo, or the "About CUK" button, to visit the About page — it covers our mandate and how the matrix works.
From the About page, click "Add Your Contribution". You'll need a head & shoulders photo and a workplace photo, plus a few details about your role — the form walks you through it.
